Internets. How I have missed you!

We've been away, had houseguest, I went back to work, we had houseguests... and now our phones are out. So even though I'm not on dialup, I do get my internet via the phone lines so I have not been able to spend time on the net in weeks.

Now I sit in a Timothy's coffee house, eating a mediocre overpriced sandwich and using their signal while the Bell guy climbs the poll outside my house. Apparently all the cables are shot and need to be replaced. I might be spending a while here.

So if I've owed you an email or been noticeably absent, my apologies. At least I can tweet from the office.

A Useful Writer's Tool--Free

From their site: Wordcounter ranks the most frequently used words in any given body of text. Use this to see what words you overuse (is everything a "solution" for you?) or maybe just to find some keywords from a document. Wordcounter is useful for writers, editors, students, and anyone who thinks that they might be speaking redundantly or repetitively -- and it's free!

Haven't tried it yet--I have Cliche Cleaner which does the same thing. But I will.

(Oh, and we have our internet connection back... on and off.)
